QGIS for Natural Resources

Designed for complete beginners or users with some previous experience of QGIS, this course aims to provide participants with all the tools they need to carry out a GIS project from start to finish. Using QGIS software, Section 1 familiarises users with the interface and introduces some core GIS concepts. In section 2 users begin a GIS project. Topics and workflows are introduced by instructor and students then undertake practical assignments with guidance and demonstrations to ensure full understanding. All practical data is provided.
