US Voting Data

In this video tutorial we take a look at using US election data and producing a value by alpha map (like a choropleth map but with a smoother colour scheme). It's a nice effect and a good addition to your cartoolkit (cartography toolkit... )

If you'd like to test yourself why not try expanding this beyond Minnesota to all US counties? It might also be interesting to use a colour ramp instead of value by alpha. Could you use only colour channels to indicate if the result was close for each county?
